La Grand'Place di Arras

Main Centre of the commercial activity since the XI century, the Grand Place extends over a hectare.
This was the square of the wheat market that has disappeared between the two wars.

LILLE

Lille has been founded around the year 1066. The city has been so called since the original agglomeration of the city was found on an island of the Deûle River.
The County of the Flanders was established for the first time in the IX century after the treaties of Verdun (843), Lille would become one of its capitals.
