The Versailles Castle used to be the palace of the King of France and the royal family.

Photo above to the right: la Galérie des Glaces (the Glass Gallery). This was the place where
the courtesans waited for the King and the royal family.
On June 28th 1919 the Treaty of Versailles was signed in the Glass Gallery, ending the
First World War.
