Bastia
Bastia is the historical capital and the principal port of the island and its main commercial town.

The trip
Corsica is an island whose natural beauties are still almost intact.
Approximately a third of the island’s territory is protected as National Park, and the better part of the coastline has not been plagued by wild construction and concrete. The coastline and the sea are fantastic.
We have travelled with our motorbikes all around the Island travelling counter-clockwise on the costal road, leaving from Bastia with stopovers in Calvi, Ajaccio, Bonifacio and Porto Vecchio.

Ajaccio
Ajaccio is the capital of the territorial collectivity of Corsica. The city is world’s famous as here Napoleon Bonaparte was born in 1769.
Obviously we paid a visit to the statue of this illustrious personage.

In the picture Napoleon’s statue.

Bonifacio
Bonifacio is situated into a small fjord encircled with white limestone walls.
The port is situated inside the fjord, here we took a ferry to Sardinia, where we spent a few days.
