Havana is definitely a special city, the old city, the city centre, the waterfront,
the beautiful vintage American cars, but what really makes it special is the air of decadence
that you can breath in the city and in the country.
Cayo Largo
Cayo Largo is a quite small island with wonderful white beaches.
The beaches are located on the southern part of the Island and are stretching for over 20 km.
There is not too much “movida” in Cayo Largo. A curiosity: at the time of our trip the airport was
equipped with sound system and multicolour spotlights, in the evenings it turned into a club!
Playa Giron
Playa Giron is a quite seaside place that offers a beautiful ocean and almost desert beaches.
The place is probably more famous as the theatre of the attempted invasion of Cuba in 1961, rather than as a tourist place.
